Both the forklift operator's certificate and F endorsement + operator's certificate courses have been significantly upgraded.
The superseded courses are labelled with Version 1.
You cannot purchase the Version 1 courses now, only the new courses, which you can find on the Courses page.
How do you swap to the new course?
- If you have Version 1 courses in your Spare licences, email us if you would like to swap them for the new course.
- If you have Version 1 courses that you've invited operators to do, but they haven't started, either delete/cancel the invitation or delete them from the course, then email us. We'll swap your course licences and you can add/invite them again.
- If you have Version 1 courses that operators have started, then these cannot be swapped as the structure of the new course is different.
How is the new course different?

- Vastly improved animation
- New footage
- There is much more focus on operational safety, particularly around understanding the data plate
- It includes information that will be released in the upcoming Good Practice Guide which will replace (or act as a proxy for) the Approved Code of Practice (we are helping write that guide).
How is it the same?
- It creates a valid 3-year operator's certificate
- It takes around the same amount of time to complete
- The mechanics of doing the course are the same
