Email settings

Set whether you want to receive email notifications. The types of notifications vary depending on the type of your account. You might still receive important system-related notifications, or emails that are invitations to courses. Each email is explained at the bottom of this screen.

Explanations of the terms

  • Email me if a trainee I invite doesn't accept the invitation within 14 days: If you invite a trainee via email (not adding them via the form), and they don't click to accept it, you'll get a notification.
  • Email me if a trainee I invite has accepted the invitation to join, but hasn't completed any quizzes after 14 days: if the trainee hasn't completed a module within 14 days of accepting the course (or being added to the course using the form), you'll get an email.
  • Email if a trainee has not had a course practical assessment (validation) within 30 days of course completion: this prompts you to create the operator's certificate within 30 days of them finishing the course so that you maximise the theory training.
  • Email me when a trainee completes a course: you'll then be able to download the certificate or organise the practical assessment.
  • Email me before course access ends for trainees that have not completed their course (30 days and 1 day before): if a trainee has not finished a course, but time is running out, you can get a notification about it so that they don't waste the course licence.
  • Email me when trainee course access ends: this emails you when a course licence expires for a trainee. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean a qualification expires.
  • Email me when a training record (qualification) is expiring (90, 30 and -30 days): This gives you plenty of warning to organise refresher training.
  • Email me if a manager purchased a course by credit card: if you allow managers to purchase courses, you can get a notification.
  • Email me before a course licence expires (14 days): this is for all trainees, whether they have finished the course or not.
  • Email me if a manager purchased a course by invoice: as per credit card.
  • Email me if a manager removed a trainee: if a manager removed a trainee from a course, you can get an email.
  • Email me if a trainee might be struggling with a module: if a trainee has to take a module multiple times to get it correct, it will send you an email so you can follow up with additional help.
  • Disable system emails: this removes some notifications about the system status (there are hardly any).
