If you drive off-road, this course is essential training. The most dangerous aspects of off-road driving are either losing control or getting stuck with no way to contact anyone. As well as covering how 4WD vehicles work and how to safely drive them on surfaces such as mud, sand, rocks, snow and through water, you'll learn trip planning, equipment requirements and (most importantly) how to recover your vehicle should you get into difficulties.
Check out the module list on the course page for a more comprehensive curriculum overview.
The following modules are included, but optional if you purchase the course as a company, not if you purchase it as an individual. This is to enable companies to tailor their training based on the type of driving the drivers do, and the other available systems and training that the company provides (e.g. you might already have incident reporting SOPs, so you don't need that module; or all your utes might be automatic, so you don't need the manual vs automatic or stall recovery modules).
