This is a major upgrade which adds two main features: training records, and documents and checklists

New features

Documents and checklists

You'll find all downloadable documents such as assessment checklists in one easy place for your courses - go to Manage > Documents and checklists

Training records (beta)

This brand new functionality is in beta mode. The design needs to be a little refined. There may be some bugs. All Managers can see this functionality. You an see an overview of all functionality with links to detailed help files here.

Training records automatically written for each course completed:

Every course completed by your trainees will now write a training record. If there's a renewal timeframe (e.g. 3 years for a forklift operator's certificate, 5 years for a D endorsement, etc) we will write a reminder that will let you know 90 days and 30 days before it's due, and 30 days after it's due. This gives you plenty of time to add a new course and get your trainee through it, plus book any practical assessments.

Add training records and reminders for trainees that don't yet have a course in DT:

Let's say you have a forklift operator who will need a renewal in 9 months. You can a training record for them and be reminded when it's due.

Store lots of information with the training records:

Qualification type, name, assessor, date achieved, renewal date, unit standards, hours taken and any files associated with it, such as text documents or photos.

Download all training records:

You can download all your training records (including ones automatically created when trainees finish a course, and ones manually added by trainees and managers) as a CSV to keep in other software.

New dashboard report:

Under Analyse >Dashboard, there's a new immediate report Expiring training and qualifications: next 90 days

Activity log updates for training records and course expiry:

The activity log stores when you add or edit a training record, plus course licence expiration
