This update completed the remainder of 457 feature requests, bug fixes and general improvements to speed and usability planned for version 8.0. The main ones are listed below. The next version will be 8.1.
New content
- New course: Rollover prevention
- New course: Roadranger gearbox training
- Updates to Truck loader crane operator's certificate relating to changes in the unit standards
New functionality
- Spreadsheet upload is massively improved with validation of the spreadsheet before upload, accurate reporting of which cells are problematic, and a progress bar when uploading. It is no longer restricted to 100 trainees at a time and will quite happily cope with a spreadsheet of 10,000 trainees.
- Almost all reports can now be sorted/reordered by clicking on the column headings
- Added course expiry date to the trainees with incomplete courses report.
- Increased the number of results shown per page for some reports (now at least 100 for most reports)
- Course completion percentage is now included in more reports
- Improved messages on pages where no results or trainees are visible yet
- Improved some warning or confirmation notifications for various actions including uploading trainees
- Improved accuracy when searching for a specific trainee
Bug fixes
- Fixed duplicate reporting when trainee didn't have a profile name
- Prevent adding a trainee with no group or removing all groups from a trainee
- Fixed numerous small discrepancies in the dashboard and reports generation
- Fixed sharing profile when a trainee has purchased one course for themselves
